Our team was approached by the talented bunch from Lights on Design and we were requested to supply four of our recently designed Retro Café lamps. We are in love with the overall eye-catching interior in Templar London, created by the Block 1 Design team. It showcases a moody and modern atmosphere, capturing the warmth and comfort from different textures. The design has the perfect feel for your next meal out!
The project started by our team receiving a custom installation mockup from the Lights on Design team, then our workshop did what they do best! They started making unique handmade lighting, all to the required lengths and finishes as per the specification of the mockup provided. We love making designs come to life as much as we love designing them ourselves. The chosen finish was polished nickel metalwork and black overbraid, it is the perfect combination for the overall interior of the space. No ceiling plates were needed for this particular installation so we provided them with flying feeds, this is because the flex cable would need to be threaded through the bespoke arms provided by Lights on Design. Our Lights would then be proudly installed hanging over the bar of Templar London, creating a lovely and warm glow!

Lets tell you a little more about our Retro Café lamp… designed in-house by our team, it was created with cafés and restaurants in mind, perfect for creating those cosy corners and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Like most of our modern contemporary designs, we took inspiration from mid-century design. We feel this lamp effortlessly blends vintage aesthetics with modern day commercial interiors, making it a great way of emitting lower light levels and helping create a more intimate feel, perfect for commercial spaces such as Templar London.
