Every piece in this collection is designed and made by our own team in our Herefordshire workshop, as we have done since 1982. We work in hand-spun brass, hand-blown glass and honest materials that age gracefully, because designer lighting should look better in ten years than it does on the day it is fitted. Nothing here is mass produced, and most pieces can be customised in finish, drop length and shade, so the light you choose actually fits the room you are putting it in.

Almost always, yes. Because each light is made to order, we can usually change the finish, adjust the drop length of pendants and chandeliers, swap shades and alter dimensions. If you need something built from scratch, our bespoke service designs and makes one-off fittings for specific rooms.

As a guide, a pendant or chandelier should be around a third the width of the table or island beneath it, and in open rooms the fitting’s diameter in inches roughly matches the room’s length plus width in feet. For high ceilings and stairwells, go bigger than feels safe. If in doubt, send us the room dimensions and we will advise.
Yes. Our fittings take LED bulbs and are compatible with standard dimmers when paired with dimmable bulbs. LED gives you warm light at a fraction of the running cost, and we are happy to recommend specific bulbs for each fitting.
