A stunning set of three converted gas brackets, stamped with the British maker’s mark “Richard Evered & Son” and dating from the late 1800s. These superbly cast sconces are in a Neoclassical style. Their original silver plating highlights features such as the ribbon-like swags and hanging tassels. An urn-like backplate accommodates the curved arm that holds a lamp at each end. The gas taps are visible on each candle pot.
