An exceptional English hexagonal lantern, dating from the early 1900s and stamped Faraday and Son. Beautifully made, it features an ornate corona, decorative scrolled acanthus leaf detailing, substantial cast framework, and finely worked ribbon and bow decoration.
There is a real sense of craftsmanship in the weight and detail of the castings, giving the lantern a strong architectural presence while still feeling elegant and decorative.
