These early 20th-century double-arm gilt wall sconces are elegant examples of neo-classical design, combining decorative details with carefully balanced proportions.
Finished in gilt, the wall sconces feature beautifully cast candle pots, each with subtle gadrooned detail. At the base, a small acorn finial provides a charming focal point.
The arms themselves are particularly pleasing. Their mirrored form creates a sense of balance and rhythm, with flowing lines that feel both architectural and soft. Delicate floral detailing adds texture without overpowering the overall design, keeping the sconces versatile and easy to place.
What makes these wall lights especially appealing is their scale. The proportions are well judged, allowing them to sit comfortably in a wide range of interiors, from period properties to more contemporary homes seeking a classical note without heaviness.
