Two Branch Art Nouveau Gas Rod With Opalescent Shades

This piece is a classic example of Art Nouveau design, originally made as a gas light and now sensitively converted for electricity. The original gas taps remain on either side – a charming detail that anchors it firmly in its period.

This gas rod features beautiful floral motifs, including a finely crafted copper flower near the base, along with natural, sweeping curves in the brasswork and leaf-like arms that support the shades. The opalescent glass shades cast a soft, milky glow, enhancing the organic feel of the design.

Striking yet refined, it’s a decorative light full of Art nouveau craftsmanship, now perfectly suited for modern use.
